About our Strip District Location
Coffee, cocktails, food, wine, craft beer, locally made grocery items, gear—you name it, we got it. We roast all our coffee right here at our Strip District location in the heart of Pittsburgh, and we host many of our events in the beautiful space we call home. With plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor tables as well, you can enjoy your time at our cafe regardless of the Pittsburgh weather.

Featuring a seasonally rotating food menu, there’s bound to be something for you matter what you’re feeling. Cookies, muffins, scones, sandwiches, chia pudding, and more - made in house at our Troy Hill location.

Drip coffee, nitro cold brew, espresso and milk beverages, loose leaf tea, house-made simple syrups and a rotating pour-over menu, expertly made just how you like ‘em. Our drink offerings also include seasonal twists on a variety of your favorite bevs.

Craft cocktails featuring the classics, new twists on old favorites, as well as original recipes. Rotating selections of beer and wine on tap, with cans and bottles to be enjoyed in house or taken to go.

Our large retail space has all of the classic cafe merchandise offerings you’d expect, as well as some niche products you’d be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Fresh coffee, loose leaf teas, candles, incense, tinned fish, craft chocolate, local ceramics, honey, syrups … and so much more!

De Fer Coffee & Tea does not offer food delivery at this time. However, customers may order ahead online to skip the line, which can get long on weekends. It’s a busy area, but there is plenty of parking—there is metered parking on most streets, and several surface lots and garages nearby. Parking is usually $5-$8 for a couple hours.
